Founded over 30 years ago, in 1975, BM can now proudly claim to have developed into one of the major suppliers of quality lounge and dining furniture throughout, not only the UK, but the majority of Europe.
Sited originally at our 80,000 sq. foot former cotton mill base BM Furniture was set up to service furniture retailers throughout Lancashire. From these beginnings BM has grown into the largest independent sofa supplier in the UK. Due to our success it became necessary in 2008 to acquire further warehousing and logistics facilities and we were lucky enough to secure premises comprising of 104,000 sq. feet in an adjoining mill. A major refurbishment and development programme to both premises in 2008 ensured that BM has both the capacity and the facilities to service our ever growing client base over the coming years.
Our main offices and showrooms are conveniently located in Lancashire where we have over 200 designs on permanent display. Every aspect of the business, from design and manufacture, to distribution and even aftercare are closely co-ordinated by our in house team ensuring an unparalleled level of quality and service which is seldom found in today's market place.
In 2001, reacting to both trade and consumer demand for quality product lines at increasingly competitive prices, BM began to produce its own range of British and Italian designed sofas at facilities in China. Our manufacturing partnerships now encompass seven facilities in China, Malaysia, Vietnam and the UK. Our range continues to expand and we offer products in every price bracket from budget to premium whilst adhering to our core principles of quality, service and value. Due to these partnerships we are able to increase our production levels dramatically at very short notice. BM has worked hard to ensure that we offer a truly scalable solution to our corporate resellers with the potential to meet even the largest project and order requirements.
